The Night Stalker Association funds over $60,000 in academic scholarships annually through the support and generous donations of private and corporate sponsors.  With NSF direct contributions, Night Stalkers Scholarships tally in excess of $85,000 annually.  Through the generosity of the Special Operations Fund, these resources are matched dollar for dollar.  The Night Stalker Association administers its National Level Scholarships through the NSF.

The following special scholarships are established in the memory of Fallen Night Stalkers and Family Members or in honor of the donor.

The Raymond A. Frank Memorial Scholarship Fund was established by a grant from the Auen-Berger Foundation with Wilma A. (Willie) Frank designated as grantee. Ray was killed in action on October 3, 1993 while defending his fellow Night Stalkers and ground force members of TF Ranger in the vicinity of his crashed MH-60 SOF assault helicopter. Frank Hall and this scholarship fund remind us daily of Ray’s many contributions to the 160th and the national security of our country. The winner of the Frank Scholarship is selected by the scholarship committee from applicants that are the wife of an active duty Night Stalker based upon previous educational efforts, recognition and awards for civic activities and financial need.

The Corey Goodnature Memorial Scholarship Fund was established by donations from the Goodnature family and friends. CW3 Corey Goodnature was killed June 28, 2005, in eastern Afghanistan when his MH-47 helicopter was shot down by enemy fire during combat operations. Applicants that are the wife or dependent child (not over the age of 23) of active duty Night Stalkers or fallen Night Stalkers are eligible for this scholarship.
